After 4 complete rond robins…is this a record. The top two teams were Costa Olanda (aka DJ and friends) and Royal Dart… relative newcomers to the scene. A gripping final gave the event to the seasoned Dutch team in a decisive 2-0. Another newcomer Royal Prince Albert YC started the series in first place, but 4 hard rounds saw the drop then hold fast to the Bronze position. At the request of World Sailing the event experimented with the deletion of the “while tacking” rule… first news suggests this was a success… watch this space.
