First it was Spinnaker then the local giant killers Istanbul Sailing Club who were to fall to the Dutch, leaving them with a clean set of wins at the end of day 1 and the lead. Spinnaker sailed their first match against the home team, and only through the most determined of team racing were they able to take their first win. ISC learning very quickly and with great boat speed managed the triumph of the day by beating top ranked club Rome Racing Team.

Tomorrow all is to play for… Rome meets Spinnaker and the Dutch… can the Dutch keep their winning ways. Can Rome recover from their defeat, or can Spinnaker very much back into their stride, maintain their winning ways.
