Brilliant breeze and a great course meant most teams were looking at 9 or 10 completed races. With many new faces in the line up predicting how things might go was hard. Lots of lessons learnt, and more to follow.

With wind speeds well above the spinnaker limit at the start RO Chip Johns wisely kept them in the bag. Later in the afternoon with the breeze dropping the kites added to some exciting racing, and also proved the downfall of some top teams in tight races.

Royal Thames proved not all is over until the finish…snatching 3 wins on the finish line despite bing 3 and 4 at the last mark.

These spectacular wins puts the Thames in the lead.
